As we announced in March, the new mig33 Merchant Program will be taking effect on April 1, 2013.
We’re also all really excited to be introducing a new color, PINK, into the Merchant community. Our community’s growing really fast!
Here are the key updates:
1. PINK color ID
a. Our first batch of Pink Merchants will be going PINK within the first week of April for their achievements in March
b. You can too, with a special bonus mission we have in April’s Merchant Quest. Stay tuned!
2. Minimum Tag amount
a. From 1 April 2013, the minimum tag amount for Merchants will increase from USD $0.25 to USD $1.00. This will bring you more profits, allow you to earn trails, and your tags will reflect actual sales.
b. Merchants who are regularly selling to a tagged customer can request to reset the tag. The tag will go to the first Merchant to sell the user USD $1.00 and above.
3. 5% Transfer fee charges:
a. This update is to encourage better commerce and help Merchants be more profitable
b. Here are some examples of when the transfer fee will take into affect:
i. Scenario 1: Non merchant user (blue) transfers at least USD $0.20 to merchants
ii. Scenario 2: Merchant transfers at least USD $0.20 to another Merchant who has already been tagged by someone else. (The 5% transfer fee will be awarded to the tagger Merchant)
iii. Scenario 3: Merchant transfers at least USD $0.20 to a normal user (blue) who has been tagged by someone else. (The 5% transfer fee will be awarded to the tagger Merchant)
