1. Express yourself with a customized cover photo
Starting this week you can make your presence on mig33 more meaningful with a unique cover photo. Get the chance to show what you’re all about in one big picture. Your cover photo helps to set the mood for your entire profile page and is your chance to make a lasting impression and let your personality shine through. Choose from any of the 6 default cover pictures or upload your own images – just make sure they fit (recommended size is 670 x 300 pixels)!
2. Make it easier to share with who you want
We want you to feel safe, secure and at home on the Miniblog. We’re equipping your profile with a new tool to give you more control over what you share, and who can see or has access to your posts.
There are some posts that you want to share with everyone, such as how happy you are or how many new friends you’ve found on mig33. There are other times you may have more personal updates (girl talk, anyone?) that are meant to be shared with only a chosen few.
After writing your update, uploading a photo or video, click on the icon next to the “Post” button to access the drop-down menu. From there, you can then choose to make the post visible to:
Public: Anyone on mig33 or all mig33 users can see this.
Friends: Only people or users you have confirmed as ‘friends’ can see this.
Myself: Only you can see this.
3. Gifting made easy
Users are now able to send gifts more easily through auto gift commands from the convenience of their favorite Chat Rooms. See that plus icon at the bottom of your chat window? Click on it to pull up a list of featured gifts and gifts you’ve sent recently. Click on your preferred gift and a corresponding gift command will automatically appear in the message input area. Edit the command by typing in the receiver’s username and hit enter to send the gift into your chat.
4. Chatting made even more fun
Click on the smiley face icon on the bottom right of your chat window to discover a world of content to make your chats more fun. From here you can send stickers, emoticons, gifts, photos and access the migStore. It’s easier to express how you feel, without even using words!
